STUCK IN A LOOP
Stuck In a Loop is a personal project that explores the theme of self-portrait.
Instead of sticking to a typical self-portrait reflecting my outward self, I decided to do a self-portrait reflecting my state of mind at the time.
I meticulously chose the objects in the scene to display a story of my current state of mind. I modeled and textured the objects to help push the idea of being stuck in an endless cycle of self-help and the rigidity and static response that comes from perfectionism.
I used the color green create this uneasy tension that ultimately used to push the mood of sickly depressing tension that can be found in perfectionism.
